about this project

This open-source software project identifies inferences between two or more bodies of text, and uses the inferences to create poems. Both an interface for performance and a practical tool, this environment will take textual inputs, query them for semantic matches, and generate the common concepts (ordered by frequency) using the semantic data. The generated concepts display as the lines of poetry (which can be reorganizing according to new input). The hope is to enact a dynamic landscape of users’ shared cognitive space, and provide insights to the user/viewer that might not otherwise be perceived as the shared knowledge between the input texts.
