lines

//

There is a certain thing that happens when you try to draw lines. You draw a few, and then you rethink them. And then you realize that those lines will never be a perfect basis for capturing the ways in which reality is conceivable through differentiation, so you just commit to a best approximation – a few categories or groupings that are at least not blatantly flawed – and delve further into your process from there. You draw lines within lines, trying to adhere to the philosophy that led your first commitment. What began as a desire to achieve totality of vision through accuracy becomes a pursuit to at least stay consistent to your own admission of limits and the particular nature of your current constraints.
